Reverend Rick Stidham is Central Phoenix Unity's Spiritual Leader. His mission is to take the church to a another level of spirituality and service. Reverend Rick is an ordained New Thought minister and a student of metaphysical teachings for more than 25 years. He has been active as a student, teacher, chaplain, and practitioner as well as guest speaker in Religious Science, Unity, and other New Thought Churches. He has had articles published in New Thought Magazine and has been an instructor of New Thought fundamentals at the Lola Pauline Mays New Thought Seminary in Mesa Arizona. He is well into his journey of becoming a Licensed Unity Teacher and once those credentials are met, he will apply for field licensing to become a Unity minister.
Reverend Kim O'Connor, Adjunct Minister
Reverend Kim O'Connor is Central Phoenix Unity's Adjunct Minister. In that role, she delivers powerful and thought-provoking Sunday messages as well as facilitates the Wednesday night Soul Food Services. Reverend Kim is also the Director of the Central Phoenix Unity's Pastoral Care and Prayer Chaplain program. Reverend Kim graduated from the Ministerial Education Program at the Unity Institute in 2005 and then served at Unity Church of Sun City for a year as an intern, followed by six months as the Pastoral Care minister.Her background includes a B.S. degree in business and 17 years as a banking and investment professional.
Reverend Kim is passionate about prayer and Truth principles.Currently, she gives Sunday talks, workshops, and teaches classes at various Unity churches throughout the Valley and the region.
Reverend Sandy Kale, Supporting Minister
Reverend Sandy Kale is Central Phoenix Unity's Supporting Minister.
Reverend Sandy has been the Spiritual Coach and holds the high watch for this church. She has helped guide its formation since its beginning. Reverend Sandy has been a Unity minister for over 35 years. She was Senior Minister at Unity Church of Sun City. After retiring from that post, she is now founder and minister of Inspirational Unity, an alternative Unity ministry in Scottsdale, AZ.
Reverend Hal Lafler, Instructor
Reverend Hal Lafler brings to Central Phoenix Unity more than 25 years of experience in teaching A Course In Miracles and a wealth of knowledge and spiritual enlightenment as a minister in New Thought and other Christian belief systems. When Reverend Hal speaks, it is a message from the heart. He was Founding Minister and Executive Director of the Southwest Miracles Center. He was also a mental health group facilitator and instructor of psychology.He is a guest Sunday speaker and teaches A Course in Miracles class at Central Phoenix Unity as well as in other churches and organizations around the Valley.
Reverend Rich Carlini was Founding Senior Minister of Central Phoenix Unity. With his vision of Divinity ~ Diversity ~ Community, he and a group of Spirit-minded individuals began the ministry in an urban city storefront on Camelback Road in April 2005 and welcomed the community for thechurch's first service on July 3, 2005. The church community is grateful for his time at Central Phoenix Unity and his tireless efforts and contribution to its formation and its continuing loving spirit.
